Their breakout session, “Catastrophic Loss Management: Insurance Strategies and Disaster Preparedness,” will focus on key discussion points such as disaster preparedness, maximizing coverage, navigating insurance requirements, unconventional insurance solutions, and best practices. In an era of increasingly frequent catastrophic events, Michael and his colleagues will explore essential strategies for managing catastrophic construction losses while presenting real-world case studies.

Michael Cuevas is a registered professional engineer with more than 25 years of experience. He has been retained as a technical expert on over 30 occasions. Michael has been cross-examined in arbitration and at deposition for projects with disputed values of up to $800M.
