On June 13 at 1:00 PM PT, Tom and Austin are presenting “Thinking beyond compliance: how a strategic approach to estimating system controls can protect against defective pricing.” Their discussion focuses on:

  • Recent activities or developments that have placed a spotlight on government contractors’ estimating and disclosure practices
  • The impact of recent developments on defective pricing
  • The negative impacts that allegations and findings of defective pricing may have on government contractors
  • What cost or pricing data contractors may be required to furnish to meet their obligations under TINA
  • Leading practices that enable contractors to reduce the risk of defective pricing
  • Strategic approaches to minimize defective pricing risk while satisfying the 17 DFARS Estimating System criteria audits
