HKA is pleased to sponsor the Ho Chi Minh City International Construction Arbitration Conference 2024 (HICAC2024), organised by the Society of Construction Law – Viet Nam (SCLVN), the International Law Faculty – Ho Chi Minh City University of Law.

This conference aims to bring together professionals from the construction industry, legal experts, arbitrators, and academics to discuss the latest trends, practices, and developments in construction arbitration. As Vietnam continues to experience significant growth in construction activities, this conference provides a timely platform for stakeholders to exchange knowledge and insights on the challenges and opportunities facing the construction arbitration landscape in Vietnam and beyond. Baoqiang Zheng is a delay expert with over 20 years of experience in construction dispute avoidance and dispute management.

As a specialist in project planning and forensic delay analysis, Baoqiang has worked on various major international projects in over 20 countries across Asia, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America, regarding the preparation and defence of claims, disputes and arbitrations on behalf of owners, contractors, and subcontractors. He has been appointed as a delay expert in arbitrations and cross-examined.

Baoqiang is recognised by Who’s Who Legal in various categories, including Consulting Experts, Construction and Arbitration. He was recently recognised by Who’s Who Legal as a Global Elite Thought Leader in Construction 2023.

Baoqiang has extensive experience in buildings, infrastructure, oil and gas, power and transportation projects. He has provided contract administration, contractual and commercial management, due diligence, procurement, contract negotiations, disruption analysis, and estimating and cost management services.
