International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) 2024 Midyear Meeting 

HKA is a proud sponsor of the IADC 2024 Midyear Meeting! This year’s meeting is being hosted at the luxurious JW Marriott Miami Turnberry in Miami. Steve Dines and Bill Guernier will be taking advantage of the many business development and networking opportunities being offered and encourage colleagues, clients, and friends to look for them at the HKA table!  

The 2024 Midyear Meeting features more than 20 continuing education programs where attendees can further their skills, knowledge, and insights. Some of the topics include Rule 702, using visual aids at trials and arbitrations, alternative origination credit, artificial intelligence, and what makes juries tick.  

Returning this year is the ever-popular speed-networking event, as well as morning networking coffee breaks, receptions geared toward first- and second-time attendees, and fun evening social events. Many activities and tours – including a golf tournament, a tour of the Everglades, a book review, a tennis mixer and tournament, and a Little Havana culinary tour – are also being offered.
