Roula Harfouche, Partner – HKA (Panel Moderator)
Roula has testified in both English and French and has worked on matters before the UK High Court, the UK Family Division, the Patents Court, the French Commercial Court and the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC), and in mediation. Her vast international arbitration experience spans numerous forums including the LCIA, ICC, SCC, HKIAC, PCA, Cairo Regional Centre For International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA), SCIA, and ICSID, and under the UNCITRAL rules.
Roula has worked as a damages and contentious valuation expert at Accuracy, FTI Consulting and Ernst & Young. She was formerly a member of the forensic accounting group at Clifford Chance, an equity analyst at Morgan Stanley, and a member of the economic and financial consulting division of Arthur Andersen. As a consultant, she has supported clients across a diverse range of sectors including telecoms, professional services, utilities, energy, industrial, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and transport.
Roula specialises in the assessment of damages and complex valuation issues in litigation and international arbitration contexts. She is experienced in matters involving breaches of contract, investment treaty claims, transaction-related disputes and intellectual property infringements. She has been valuing companies, listed and unlisted securities, and intellectual property rights in commercial and contentious contexts since 2000.

Anthony Charlton, Partner – HKA
Anthony has testified in both English and in French for matters before the French and Belgian domestic courts and for numerous investment and commercial arbitration matters. He has acted in disputes ranging from $3 million to over $25 billion.
Anthony has specialised in dispute-type work since 1996, after first gaining professional experience in many auditing and insolvency related assignments. His experience is global and covers a variety of industries including technology media and telecoms, oil and gas, energy, resources, construction, real estate, mining, aviation, infrastructure, hotel & leisure, banking, media, materials.
Anthony’s expertise ranges from the quantification of damages claims in international commercial and investment treaty disputes, contentious valuations and expert determinations to shareholder and joint-venture disputes, financial and fraud investigations, and other types of forensic accounting assignments. He is also frequently instructed to prepare preliminary assessments of loss by claimants and law firms in contemplation of launching formal dispute proceedings

Lloyd Watson, Technical Director, HKA
Lloyd Watson is a licensed pilot with 40 years of experience. He has been appointed as an aviation technical expert on more than 40 occasions.
Lloyd has been cross-examined in litigation on three occasions regarding various aviation operations, inflight incidents, and accidents. He provides expert evidence and reports regarding the root cause and contributory factors of the accident to provide a narrow focus on liability.
Lloyd is a former Royal Navy helicopter pilot, having spent more than 20 years flying offshore operations around the world. He has also flown for commercial airlines and acted as an operations director responsible for efficient and safe day-to-day operations. He subsequently qualified as an instructor and examiner and has also worked as an aviation advisor.
Lloyd specialises in accident analysis and the management of aviation risks. He is an expert in human factors analysis, as applied to the accident, and draws on a global network of experienced aviation experts as needed for further analysis and dispute resolution. His expertise as an air transport pilot incorporates both fixed wing and rotary aircraft.
