Drew Ray is a planning and scheduling professional with more than 25 years of construction industry experience. He has been appointed as both a delay and a technical expert.
Drew has provided expert testimony in both litigation and arbitration, including concurrent evidence (hot-tubbing). He has prepared a variety of expert reports including time impact analysis, measured mile analysis, reports of findings, graphics, charts, spreadsheets, annotated schedules and visual displays of quantitative information in support of negotiations, mitigations, arbitration and litigation.
Drew has served as an owner’s representative, project manager, construction manager, forensic claims consultant, project engineer and superintendent. He has a broad knowledge of contractor means and methods, contract delivery approaches, and causation of impact.
Drew’s experience includes the identification, evaluation, and quantification of construction claims related to scope changes, schedule delay, extended performance, disruption and loss of productivity, accelerations, errors and omissions, and standard of care disputes. He has an advanced understanding of risk and the strategic approaches necessary to both advance and defend construction claims.
Drew is a section president for the Association for the Advancement of Cost engineering and a member of the Construction Management Association of America. He is proficient in Oracle Primavera P6 and P3, Microsoft Project, Acumen, and SureTrak.
