Hansell has provided testimony and expert reports at trials, arbitrations and mediations. He has provided expert support on claims with values in dispute in excess of US$500 million and on projects valued up to US$2 billion. Hansell has testified on matters related to quantum methods, reliability of accounting records, delay and disruption costs, terminations for default, lost profits, and fraud.
Hansell has supported a wide range of clients including global EPC contractors, real estate developers, utilities, government contractors, financial institutions, insurers, and technology firms. He also has experience in providing consulting to healthcare organizations, banks, government contractors, and insurers in matters of fraud, compliance, and process improvement.
Hansell specialises in leading analysis and validating complex economic damages, specifically in disputes concerning commercial and multifamily real estate and heavy civil infrastructure projects. His project experience includes stadiums, power plants, light rail, bridges, highways, industrial and manufacturing facilities, universities, multifamily and mixed-use developments. As a former CFO of a real estate developer, he has experience in all aspects of planning, leasing, and build-out of new development real estate transactions.
Hansell Pasco is a Certified Fraud Examiner and holds a bachelor’s in business administration and commerce. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the Society of Construction Law.
