Mark Keeton is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with nearly 20 years of construction and engineering industry experience. He has been appointed as a quantum expert four times and has assisted the named expert on more than 10 occasions.
Mark’s expert work ranges from large international arbitrations to dispute adjudication boards (DABs) for projects with values in excess of $1.5 billion. He is a RICS accredited expert witness and has received a Legal Experience Training Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence.
Mark’s experience spans multiple sectors including liquefied natural gas (LNG), oil and gas, industrial, defence, retail, residential, aviation and education. He has managed sizeable commercial teams on large-scale projects and disputes under a variety of standard and bespoke contract forms, utilising both traditional and EPC procurement routes.
Mark’s expert experience ranges from variations, prolongation and disruption to termination of contract and workforce related losses. He specialises in matters of quantity surveying and assessing cost-based claims.
Mark is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Building. He holds a degree in construction commercial management, a master’s in construction law and a post graduate diploma in law.
