HKA, the global leading consultancy for multi-disciplinary expert and specialist services in risk mitigation and dispute resolution within the capital projects and infrastructure sector, has announced that Robert (“Rob”) C. Gardner, Jr. joins the firm as Partner within the Government Contracts Group. He will be based in HKA’s Houston, Texas office.
Rob Gardner has more than 30 years of government contract, business insurance and construction contracting experience. He has extensive experience conducting contract cost and performance audits, scheduling and claim advisory services for aerospace and defense companies. Gardner has assisted law firms and companies on insurance and construction matters involving commercial and government contracts at the federal, state and local levels. Specializing in complex developmental projects typically involving contract disputes, Gardner’s work generally requires the investigation, identification, quantification, and presentation of root causes of cost and schedule growth. He is well versed in critical path schedule and delay analysis methodologies and in determining the resultant linkage to delay-related and other extracontractual costs.

Gardner earned his B.S in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Prior to joining HKA, he was a Managing Director – Government / Construction Contract & Insurance Claim Advisory Services with FTI Consulting.
