Samer (Sam) Asaad, Associate Director, Sydney
Sam is an experienced planning and project controls manager, construction advisor, design/construction interface manager and civil/structural engineer with hands-on experience in project development, project progress tracking and forensic analysis on various large scale projects both internationally and locally.
Nicola Cleary, Practice Manager – Advisory, Sydney
Nicola joins the Sydney Advisory team as Practice Manager. Nicola comes to HKA from KPMG’s Enterprise Advisory practice delivering business solutions to SMEs.
Bogdan Cordos, Network Engineer, Warrington
Bogdan has over 14 years’ experience in IT, and has become a networking specialist over the past 7 years.
Bogdan provides network support, installation, and analysis for a broad range of LAN/WAN communication systems.
Thomas Georgiadis, Managing Consultant, Dubai
Thomas’ expertise is within narine infrastructure, oil and gas, heavy civil and buildings construction. Thomas has been working in the Middle East for the last nine years, previously working in Archirodon Construction Co. S.A. In his most recent position, Thomas has been working as a Construction Section Head at Deep Storm Water Project – Jebel Ali, Dubai.
Nicole Johnson, Document Controller, Sydney
Nicole is an experienced administrator who thrives in highly pressured and challenging environments. She has had Document Controller roles with Aurecon Australasia and Watpac Construction in Australia, and BAM Nuttall in the UK.
Intan Liyana Johar, Managing Consultant, Qatar
Intan has over 11 years’ experience of working in the construction industry, as well as oil and gas in various types of projects and stages. Intan has been residing in Qatar for more than four years, previously working with Qatar’s Public Works Authority where she was involved in the operation and maintenance of infrastructure framework contracts. She has worked on projects across Asia, Middle East, and Europe.
Michael Luong, Senior Consultant, Sydney
Michael rejoins HKA after taking time out to pursue other interests. Michael is an experienced project engineer and has worked on several complex road, rail and infrastructure projects in Sydney.
Peter Naidos, Associate Director, Melbourne
Peter recently relocated to Melbourne from our New York office. Peter has civil engineering and finance qualifications, and has been working in New York on schedule delay, cost analysis, project monitoring and some forensic accounting. He previously worked in Australia for Vic Roads in a project monitoring role.
Amit Sarkar, Cost Manager, Sydney
Amit is an accomplished Project Controls professional with industry experience in the infrastructure, mining and heavy engineering sectors. He has extensive experience working across projects for market leaders such as Samsung C&T, Downer, Auckland Transport, Jacobs and Hatch.
Ben Sternberg, Senior Associate Consultant, Philadelphia
Ben specialises in providing forensic accounting and consulting services to attorneys, public and private companies, non-profit companies, and governmental agencies. Ben supports experts in creating damages and financial models, data analytics, and investigations in complex commercial litigation. Ben has experience in contract disputes, intellectual property disputes, lost profit claims, asset tracing, valuation, and due diligence in mergers and acquisitions. He has presented on fraud, specifically why people commit and ways to detect fraud. Ben has worked for clients in a range of industries, including real estate, construction, retail, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, professional services, among others.
Esnath Tarira, Financial Controller, Johannesburg
Esnath is a PWC trained Chartered Accountant with vast experience in setting up, improving and leading efficient and value adding finance functions. She has held a number of positions within the finance departments of several businesses in Johannesburg including Accompany Advisory, a strategic advisory firm operating as partner to McKinsey. Whilst at Accompany, Esnath had the opportunity to manage financial aspects of consulting engagements and therefore has a good understanding of professional services businesses. Most recently, Esnath has been the Financial Controller at Verifone Africa.
Zhi Zhang, Consultant, Beijing
Zhi is a Civil Engineer with over ten years of experience in the construction and engineering industry. His areas of expertise include buildings, oil and gas, mining and power projects. He is experienced in project planning and scheduling and has been involved in various major projects across China.
