Kate Wood, Chief People Officer
Ali Almarzooq, Analyst, Jeddah
Ali is a Planning Engineer with one year’s experience in the construction industry and has held a project planning position with a construction company in Saudi Arabia. Ali has been working as a planner on several projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia including Aramco’s Ras Tanura Clean Fuels project. He has gained experience in project planning, creating baseline schedules, identifying the critical path, and developing revised and recovery schedules. Ali also has experience managing periodic updates and project monitoring through daily and weekly reports, as well as an in-depth understanding of scheduling and delay analysis.
Sarah Almohsen, Analyst, Jeddah
Sarah is from Saudi Arabia but obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas in the US. Sarah graduated as a Petroleum Engineer and has worked in the Petroleum industry for almost two years.
Jacob Ashcroft, Associate Consultant, Dubai
Jacob has seven years’ quantity surveying experience working in the construction industry on different types of projects for a main contractor. He has worked on many construction projects in the UK, including building projects for commercial and education sectors. Jacob has a BSc Quantity Surveying degree and is an Associate Member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Charne Badenhorst, Assistant Management Accountant, Dubai
Charne is originally from South Africa where she obtained a Bachelor’s and Post-graduate degree in Accounting, and is currently in the process of obtaining an ACCA. Charne has four years’ experience as an auditor for an entity that dealt with listed entities and gained a wide range of exposure to a wide variety of industries, including mining, manufacturing, and financial services.
Michelle Barola, Business Support Administrator, Abu Dhabi
Michelle joins HKA with over eight years’ administrative assistant experience working in the oil and gas and consultancy in UAE.
John Cawood, Associate Technical Director, Johannesburg
John is a Chartered Engineer and PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He has 37 years of experience in several industries in Africa and the Middle East. He has worked for companies as diverse as Illovo, ESKOM, SAPPI, Worley Parsons and Sohar Aluminium, filling the roles of engineer, project manager, engineering manager, consultant and specialist. He has a long history of innovation and achievement across the spectrum of fossil-fired power, sugar, paper, manufacturing, and smelting.
Andrea Hennessy, Regional Proposals & Marketing Coordinator, Dubai
Andrea has over ten years’ experience of proposal management and marketing expertise in the professional services sector. She has worked primarily in the UK, however she has gained invaluable experience managing business development activities for two leading law firms in the UAE; the most recent being a local litigation law firm.
Chris Al-Jazzar, Associate Consultant, Montreal
Chris is originally from Lebanon and has travelled to 16 countries on four continents. He holds a MBA degree and a civil engineering degree. He joins HKA as an Associate Consultant in our Montreal, Canada office.
Rob Joannides, Consultant, Sydney
Rob is a driven professional with strong expertise providing strategic planning, business case development and implementation advice to public and private sector organisations. He joins HKA from Johnstaff Infrastructure Advisory with experience advising across social infrastructure, transport and mining sectors.
Ananth Kumar Illangovan, Senior Planner, Sydney
Ananth is a project management professional with a background in engineering. He has strong experience in the planning and project control, risk management, claims and delay analysis, infrastructure, metro and airport projects. He joins us from SNC-Lavalin (Atkins).
Rethabile Molapo, Information Technology Site Support Analyst, Johannesburg
Rethabile holds a National Diploma in Information Technology obtained from the Central University of Technology, Free State. She also holds the following professional certifications Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate,
MCSE – Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, MCSE – Private Cloud, HCAI – AI, Fortinet Network Security Associate 1, and Fortinet Network Security Associate 2. She has over five years’ experience in technical support and systems administration. She joins us from Datacentrix where she was a First Line Support engineer for three years.
Farooq Nasir, Senior Consultant, Sydney
Farooq is a senior civil engineering professional with project controls and claims experience at multinationals in Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, and Australia. He joins us from Blue Visions Management Consultants.
Dionne Penecitos, Consultant, Sydney
Dionne is a structural engineer with consulting experience in the construction industry. He joins us from Van der Meer Consulting where he delivered value engineering solutions and implemented the FastField application to aid data collection and automate workflows.
Andrew Schaper, Lead Consultant, Sydney
Andrew is an experienced leader who specialises in strategic procurement, operational planning and direction, with a passion for creating adaptable, customer centric and inclusive teams. He joins us from the Northern Beaches Council.
Jon Scherr, Associate Director, New York
Jon has 15 years of diverse investigative accounting experience. He provides a variety of investigative and consulting services in both domestic and international matters, including fraud investigations and litigation support.
Wasiq Sial, Lead Consultant, Sydney
Wasiq has strong experience in the coordination, procurement, delivery, and management of construction, fit-out, infrastructure and marine projects. He has worked on procurement and delivery of major infrastructure, residential and rail projects for a variety of private and government clients.
Belinda Singh, Business Support Administrator, Melbourne
Belinda is results-driven administrator with experience across sales, marketing, training and administration. She joins us from Serveredge, where she was the National Sales Administration Coordinator.
HKA also welcomed Julia Humpidge, Terry Mason and James Dowling.
