Qatar’s Visionary Growth Provides Sound Basis for HKA Expansion

HKA, one of the world’s leading providers of consulting, expert and advisory services to the engineering and construction industries, sees significant growth in Qatar, effecting an office move to the iconic Doha Tower.

HKA’s relocation from the commercial district of Old Al Salata to the newly developed West Bay neighbourhood of Doha represents a major investment in the future of the firm’s operations in Qatar. With sales revenues increasing three-fold over the last five years, HKA is confident of continuing business success and attracting new talent to its growing team of trusted advisers, consultants and experts.

Since the establishment of a permanent presence in Qatar, HKA has been involved in many of the State’s most high profile projects, notably Hamad International Airport, the Doha Metro and Lusail Expressway, and more recently the National Museum of Qatar and Msheireb Downtown Doha.

Tom Kapapa, HKA’s Operations Director in Qatar, said: “We are currently experiencing significant business growth in a country that offers vast opportunities. We look to the future with a high level of optimism as we continue to invest in and build our in-country capability to serve Qatar’s needs.”

With over US$150bn-worth of projects underway and another US$80bn in the pipeline, including preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar’s economy continues to grow, driven by the aims of the Qatar National Vision 2030, which serves as a clear roadmap for a stable and sustainable future for the country’s citizens.

David Merritt, Partner and Head of the Middle East & Asia, said: “I am extremely proud of our team for firmly establishing HKA as the leading claims consulting and dispute resolution firm in Qatar. Our move to this landmark tower, puts us in the heart of Doha’s thriving business district, and provides us with the ideal location for our continued expansion.”

HKA’s new offices are located on the 13th floor of the award winning, 232-metre, 46-storey skyscraper, overlooking the Corniche.
