Richard Fogarty joins HKA’s Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages Group as Partner

HKA has announced that Richard Fogarty has joined the firm as a Partner within the Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages Group (FACD).  He will be based in HKA’s New York office.

Mr. Fogarty has more than 23 years of fraud investigative and white-collar crime experience.  He has conducted hundreds of investigations and is an expert in matters related to regulatory compliance, complex internal and external fraud, asset searches and investigations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), anti-money laundering and antiterrorist financing, investigative due diligence, and supply chain and employee theft. He has led and participated in many engagements involving investigations throughout the United States, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and has worked on a variety of complex investigations for international corporations and law firms. Prior to joining HKA, Richard was Managing Director – Disputes & Investigations, Financial Crimes and Latin America Practices with Alvarez & Marsal.

Rich earned his B.A. from Trinity College-Hartford and his J.D from Brooklyn Law School.  He is a member of the New York City Bar and active with the International Bar Association Anti-Corruption Committee – International Bar Association.  He is a Board Member with the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice.
