Ronald H. Braver joins HKA’s Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages Group as Partner

HKA has announced that Ronald H. Braver has joined the firm as a Partner within the Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages (FACD) Group.  He is based in HKA’s Los Angeles office.

Braver has more than 25 years of Federal law enforcement experience as a Special Agent and Supervisory Special Agent IRS – Criminal Investigation. He has more than 12 years of private sector experience including 2 years at an international public accounting firm in providing forensic accounting, investigative, and dispute services. Braver has diverse fraud, money laundering, and asset forfeiture investigative experience,  which is useful in assisting in the recovery process. He has testified on multiple occasions in Federal & State courts, in depositions, and before grand juries, with a very strong testifying track record.

Braver earned his B.S in accounting from Truman State University and his M.S. in taxation from DePaul University.  He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (IL) and Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist and a Licensed Private Detective (IL). Prior to joining HKA, Braver was a Managing Member of Ron Braver & Associates LLC. Before that he was Senior Manager at Grant Thornton.
