The Academy of Experts (TAE) welcomed Derek Nelson as new Chairman at their annual chairmen’s lunch on 31 January 2020

TAE provides accreditation of Expert Witnesses and a comprehensive range of training courses to enable members and others to develop their expert skills.

Derek Nelson said: “To my right, Lord Saville joined the Academy’s Judicial Committee in 1993 and has been President now for some 14 years. To my left, Mrs Justice O’Farrell kindly agreed to join the Academy’s judicial committee in 2020 together with Lord Justice Dingemans, The Hon Justice Quentin Loh, and Sir Vivian Ramsey QC. We are very fortunate to have access to and an association with such a range of current and former senior judiciary from around the world to inform and promote the high objective standards that are the hallmark of The Academy of Experts… humbled to be standing in the presence of giants!.”
