Extract from the organiser’s website The 9th Congress of the DGA-Bau and the MKBauImm hopes to significantly contribute to the avoidance of disputes in the construction and real estate industry through the implementation of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures. The initiatives outlined by the DGA-Bau and the MKBaulmm could not only help resolve disputes more quickly, but also reduce the number of legal proceedings.

About our Speaker

Dr Frank W Ziegler is a graduate civil engineer with 20 years’ practical experience in construction disputes. He has supported more than 280 projects worldwide, including shipbuilding and plant construction projects with project values up to €120 million. Prior to joining HKA, Frank worked for more than six years in positions such as quality manager, executive assistant, and contract manager in medium-sized construction companies. Based in Düsseldorf, Frank has practical experience in legal, commercial, and technical issues relating to disputes. He analyses, substantiates and negotiates disputes caused by variations, delays, terminations, defects, suspensions and accelerations.
