Carol Reardon is a delay and quantum expert with nearly 20 years of experience. She has undertaken more than 10 commissions.
Carol has assisted with and provided testimony and reports for trial, arbitration, and mediation in various contexts, from private commercial projects such as multi-family housing and senior living to utility projects such as power plants and transmission lines to public projects such as airports and sports stadiums. She has provided expert support on projects with disputed values of up to $100 million.
Carol has consulted for Fortune 500 companies and other clients across North and South America including project owners, architects, contractors, and subcontractors. She has presented to companies on scheduling methods and procedures, costs tracking, and means to track the impact of project issues. She has experience in many kinds of projects beyond her specialisms, including airports, roads, casinos and resorts, multi-unit housing complexes, power plants, refineries, sports stadiums, transmission lines and water treatment plants.
Carol specializes in damages and delay analysis for the construction and electric utility industries, performing detailed critical path method (CPM) schedule analysis. She determines durations and responsibility for events that delayed complex construction projects, and analyses project cost-growth issues such as productivity, acceleration, and disruption.
Carol Reardon has a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA), the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEi), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
