Lucas Byrne, Consultant
HKA would like to welcome Lucas Byrne to the firm as Consultant based in Birmingham.
Lucas has a First Class Honours in Quantity Surveying and has eight years’ experience in the construction industry. His experience spans both public and private sector, new build, refurbishment and civils, as well as experience in commercial management throughout the lifecycle of a project, managing a number of projects though procurement and design, to construction and handover.
John Chesbro, Principal
HKA would like to welcome John Chesbro to the firm as Principal based in Washington, DC.
John is a seasoned executive with a strong record of achievement in federal and commercial contracts management, regulatory compliance, business winning, pricing strategy, proposal development, strategic planning and building effective teams and customer relationships.
Bartosz Domagalski, Associate Director
HKA would like to welcome Bartosz Domagalski to the firm as an Associate Director based in Qatar.
Bartosz is a Structural Engineer and a Chartered Surveyor with more than 20 years of experience in commercial management, project controls and project management of construction projects including infrastructure projects, buildings, facades, resources, and power & utilities.
Bartosz specialises in the preparation of claims including both delay and quantum and has experience in dispute resolution, including amicable settlement, mediation and arbitration.
Karim Hamad, Associate Consultant
HKA would like to welcome Karim Hamad to the firm as an Associate Consultant based in Abu Dhabi.
Karim is a Claims Consultant with over five years’ experience in the construction industry. He has experience in project management, quantity surveying and delay, and quantum-related disputes working in the UK, Lebanon and the UAE across the buildings, industrial and manufacturing, infrastructure, and technology sectors.
Alexis Haridopolos, Executive Assistant
HKA would like to welcome Alexis Haridopolos to the firm as Executive Assistant based in Washington, DC.
Alexis’s past work includes working in congressional and senate offices in her hometown Melbourne, FL, and on Capitol Hill. Most recently she served as an executive assistant for a congressional candidate in Florida.
Khuyen Huynh, Associate Consultant
HKA would like to welcome Khuyen Huynh to the firm as Associate Consultant based in Houston.
Khuyen is a construction engineering associate with six years of experience in program management, forensic consulting, construction claims, dispute evaluation, and litigation support.
Key projects include oil and gas facilities, pipelines, power and manufacturing plants, hospitals, schools / universities, large scale commercial and residential buildings, and other urban developments.
Zaffer Khan, Technical Director
HKA would like to welcome Zaffer Khan to the firm as Technical Director based in Birmingham.
Zaffer is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with more than 20 years’ technical and commercial experience in the fields of oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, energy, chemical, water, wastewater and environmental sectors. His experience expands across operations, design, construction and project management, with particular expertise in process design and process safety.
Joseph Kirby, Associate Director
HKA would like to welcome Joseph Kirby, who joins HKA’s Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages practice as an Associate Director, based in London.
Joseph is a CFA Charterholder and specialises in the assessment of damages and contentious valuation issues in litigation, international arbitration and expert determinations. He is experienced in matters involving breaches of contract, shareholder disputes, breach of warranty, unfair prejudice, transaction-related disputes and intellectual property infringements. He has a decade of experience in contentious valuations, commercial and corporate reporting valuations and loss of profits assessments.
Michelle Najjar, Consultant
HKA would like to welcome Michelle Najjar to the firm as a Consultant based in Dubai.
Michelle is a civil engineer with over eight years of experience in the construction industry, working in construction contracts and claims, and designing high-rise structures for mixed-use, commercial and residential projects in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Michelle has been providing external consultancy services to several construction companies predominately advising on contracts and preparation of claims.
