A government organization fulfills its requirement to prepare for litigation.
Brief
To fulfill a pre-litigation requirement, a government organization needed an expert to copy data from a significant number of evidence drives to several pre-staged, high-capacity drives for data preservation.
What we did
To achieve the desired outcome, HKA’s cybersecurity and privacy team sent in our lead digital forensic investigator to copy more than 80 terabytes of data from over 50 drives and move it to a high-capacity storage drive for pre-litigation data preservation.
After the process used to copy the data was verified and the results were certified as forensically sound by HKA’s expert, the results were ready for use in litigation.
Outcomes
HKA’s digital forensic investigation expert verified that the copied data was forensically sound and that the process was properly documented to support the client’s litigation procedure.
