ABA Forum on Construction Law 2022 Annual Meeting

We are also sponsoring the Women’s Networking Event at the meeting. The theme of this year’s meeting is “In-House Counsel Summit: Shining a Light on the Construction Issues Keeping In-House Counsel Up at Night.” This program examines what it takes for construction industry in-house counsel to be successful in the various roles in which they serve and to provide outside counsel insight into how to best support their client’s in-house legal team.

HKA is excited to announce that Frank Giunta, HKA Partner and Head of the Americas, will participate in an hour-long panel on “Weathering the Storm: Using the Lessons Learned from the COVID-19 Pandemic to Prepare for a Crisis” on Friday, May 6, at 9:15 am. Topics include what or how the role of general counsel has expanded and will that remain, key contract provisions, “new normal” considerations for employee safety, insurance considerations, strategies for dealing with government mandates, and supply chain disruptors. Recognized in Who’s Who Legal 2021, Frank is a registered Professional Engineer with more than 35 years of experience in engineering and construction consulting. He has been actively involved in project management oversight and the evaluation, presentation, resolution, and management of construction claims. Frank has acted as expert witness on more than 65 occasions.
