HKA invites you to join Caryn Fuller, Seyran Celik, Bill Guernier, Tracy Doyle, and Adam Winegard in Hollywood, Florida, for Construction Super Conference 2023. Beginning on November 29, this three-day conference is recognized as the preeminent construction conference for mid- to senior-level professionals who work in the legal and commercial construction markets.
We are pleased to announce that Caryn was invited to participate in two panel discussions:

McMillan of Jones Day; Ashley Jordan of Reed Smith, LLP; Clayton Gollnick of Technip Energies; and Poornima Sharma of Technip Energies. These energy project specialists will discuss how project risks and causes of claims differ between traditional energy projects and renewables. Using HKA’s CRUX Insight report, they will also detail the primary causes of claims on large, complex energy projects and identify strategies to deal with these areas of project risk.
- On November 30 at 2:30 PM ET, Caryn is serving on a panel with Brian Gaudet at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP; Ben Pollock at Shell; and Matthew Meaker of Sundt Construction on “Ethics of Claim Handling – From Before They Arise Until Their Resolution.” These panelists will discuss the practical and ethical issues that arise when dealing with claims, as well as the common issues that arise during contract negotiation; claim notification, substantiation, and negotiation; and trial/arbitration. They will also reference key provisions of the ABA Model Rules, case law, and applicable statutes.
