About the speakers:

Nicholas Collings

Nicholas specialises in commercial litigation and arbitration with a particular emphasis on construction, engineering, energy and utilities, technology and related disputes. He has broad experience of all methods of dispute resolution with expertise in domestic and international arbitration, mediation and adjudication.

Nicholas is recommended in the most recent editions of the legal directories Chambers UK Bar Guide and The Legal 500, as a leading junior in the fields of construction and professional negligence.

Emyr Evans

Emyr is involved in the preparation, analysis and submission of expert witness reports and in the preparation and defence of contractual claims. He has given oral testimony in London, Paris, Rotterdam and Khartoum, and has experience of delivering concurrent evidence (‘hot-tubbing’). Emyr has been instructed on more than 30 occasions as quantum expert in construction and engineering disputes across the UK, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Who’s Who Legal Construction Experts 2019 edition says, “Superb quantum expert” Emyr Evans is “incredibly diligent and hard-working” and “goes above and beyond to ensure every query is dealt with”. WWL has previously said, Emyr Evans excels as “an experienced expert witness with a firm grip on the issues”.

Franco Mastrandrea

Franco has acted as expert on more than 50 international project management, delay and quantum related disputes. He is on the RICS register of Dispute Board Members, the FIDIC President’s list of adjudicators and is on arbitrator lists maintained by RICS and international arbitration centres in Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore. Franco acts regularly as dispute resolver and is recognised as a Global Elite Thought Leader by Who’s Who Legal.

Franco has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. He has acted as dispute resolver, as mediator, adjudicator, expert determiner and arbitrator.
