National Contract Management Association World Congress 2023

HKA is looking forward to the National Contract Management Association’s World Congress 2023. As the nation’s leading training event for contract management, procurement, and acquisition professionals, the four-day conference kicks off on July 23 in Nashville. World Congress features several all-day training options, keynote speeches, learning sessions and workshops, multiple networking opportunities, a career fair, and an exhibit hall.

HKA’s Jennifer Flickinger is co-presenting “Commercial Contracting: Adjusting Culture for Successful Outcomes” alongside Ryan Connell, United States Department of Defense, and Crystal Teed, BAE Systems, on July 24 at 1:45 PM CT. This intensive workshop will help buyers and sellers (and auditors) tackle some of the common pain points with FAR-based commercial contracting.

Jennifer Flickinger, Partner

Jennifer Flickinger is a government contracts expert with more than 25 years of experience. Jen advises clients on challenging operational and compliance matters unique to federal government contractors. She assists clients to develop policies, procedures, systems, and controls to achieve compliant contractor business functions relative to FAR, CAS, and other regulatory requirements. Jen has extensive experience designing competitive indirect rate structures and implementing compliant accounting systems. Her experience also includes preparing cost proposals and related narratives, change orders, ROM proposals, REAs, and TSPs. While in industry, she was responsible for ensuring compliance with the Service Contract Act and the Davis Bacon Act. Jennifer has a strong record of negotiations with the US Departments of Defense, State, and Labor and the DCAA. She maintains active secret clearances (State and OGA).
