HKA is excited to sponsor the 20th Annual CWiE Mixed Charity Golf Tournament at the prestigious Elbow Springs Golf Club on June 9. HKA Partner Rick Moffat will be in attendance on behalf of HKA Canada, along with support from the local HKA office. We are looking forward to hosting attendees at the HKA sponsorship hole!
Calgary Women in Energy (CWiE) is the female “oilmen’s” group dedicated to professional women working in Calgary within the oil and gas industry to meet for continuing education, socialization, and community involvement. The group’s annual golf tournament is the single, biggest fundraising effort for local women’s charities in Calgary by CWiE. Since 2003, this tournament has raised more than $500,000 for various women’s charities in the area.
This year’s charity of choice is the Women’s Centre of Calgary. The Women’s Centre provides a safe and supportive space accessed by thousands of women in the Calgary area. All proceeds raised through the CWiE Golf Tournament will go to support the Women’s Centre, along with additional initiatives throughout the year.
