American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law 2022 Summer Conference

HKA is a Platinum Sponsor of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law 2022 Summer Conference being held on July 27–28, both at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and virtually via live stream. The Forum’s first-ever Summer Conference focuses on “The Art of Negotiation.” HKA’s John Baxter, Partner; Kandace Zimmerman, Director; Julia Villalobos, Associate Director; Chris Spandau, Principal; and Tracy Doyle, Partner, are attending the conference. They look forward to connecting with colleagues, clients, and friends at the HKA booth!

At the Summer Conference, the Forum will provide attendees with a better understanding of the psychology, strategy, and persuasive techniques needed to negotiate an acceptable outcome and the dynamics affecting client decision making. A panel of in-house counsel will examine the factors that influence clients’ posture in settlement and contract negotiations, and a multimedia presentation that addresses ethics in negotiations will be featured.
