This year’s two-day tradeshow, which kicks off on October 18, brings together professionals from across the industry to interact, learn, and discover the newest innovations in a constantly transforming market. Don’t miss seeing Rick Moffat, Partner and Head of Operations, Canada, who is co-presenting a seminar on “Understanding the Importance of Commercial Project Management and Contract Administration” alongside Jerry Crawford of KGC Consulting Services Ltd., Suzanne Checkryn of Revay and Associates Limited, and Tom Hawkins of FTI Consulting. This hour-long informational session begins at 9:00 AM MT on October 19. Attendees of this seminar will learn about the risks of construction claims to cost, quality, and schedule, as well as witness demonstrations of contract administration techniques that help avoid claims or mitigate the risks in successfully pursuing those claims.

Rick Moffat, Partner and Head of Operations, Canada  

Rick has worked more than 30 years in the construction industry. He has extensive experience with risk management, project management, and dispute resolution services for industrial, infrastructure, commercial, and institutional projects. As a consultant and expert witness, Rick provides both project risk management advice and claims and litigation support, including CPM schedule preparation and analysis, change management, risk assessment and mitigation, constructability review, productivity, and damages assessment. Rick has testified as an expert in Canada and the United States on such issues as delay analysis, change order impact, and loss of productivity.
