About the conference
The International Construction Claims and ADR Conference 2023 will be held on 8 & 9 November 2023. The chance to see an entire room of international construction industry players, including practitioners and experts in construction claims and ADR, offers a fantastic networking opportunity. The ICCADR 2023 will expand on the success of last year’s International Construction Claims and ADR Conference in Dubai, the international debut which drew over 300 virtual participants and 100 physical participants from various jurisdictions to discuss construction practices and experiences.
This year, the ICCADR 2023 will be held in a fully virtual format, allowing delegates from any parts in the world to attend the conference and learn from our crème de la crème speakers.

Michael Tonkin
Partner
Michael is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Chartered Arbitrator, CEDR Accredited Mediator, RICS Accredited Expert Witness and testifying Expert Witness in quantum with nearly 35 years of experience in the construction industry. He acts as an expert witness in quantum and has been instructed around fifty times as a party appointed Expert Witness, a single joint Expert Witness and a Third-Party Expert Evaluator on disputes up to US$4bn in value. He has given oral testimony many times in traditional cross-examination as well as concurrent evidence/hot-tubbing. Michael is a Who’s Who Legal (WWL) Global Elite Thought Leader.
Dimitrios Tousiakis

Dimitrios Tousiakis is a Testifying Delay Expert and Partner of HKA, based in Dubai. He is a Chartered Civil Engineer and an RICS Accredited Expert Witness with international experience in forensic delay analysis for dispute resolution and directly in the construction industry.He has been appointed 10 times as independent Delay Expert Witness for ICC, UNCITRAL, DIAC, DIFC-LCIA, ADCCAC arbitrations and adjudications. Dimitrios has been cross-examined by KCs during hearings. He has also provided independent expert opinion to contractors and employers on many occasions. In the past, he has carried out delay analysis and has assisted appointed delay experts on a range of projects including high-rise buildings, airports, health care, rail, and oil & gas.
